When his father passes away Eddie Halstead inherits among other things a huge estate. What he doesn't know is that the land is being used as part of Mickey Pearson's illicit drug activity. In order to step out of his father's shadow and be his own man, Eddie has to face Mickey on his own terms. But there's a host of characters from the criminal underworld after a piece of what Eddie has, and to protect his family, he'll need to learn how to play their game.
