WHAT TO WATCH

About What To Watch

Good stories. Less scrolling.

A simpler way to choose

What To Watch helps you find popular movies and series and discover where to watch them in the United States. Choose a genre, select your services, or search for a title. There is no account to create.

How the lineup works

Our service lists use available popularity data to surface up to ten titles per service for your selections. Popularity indicators are not the same as measured viewing figures, and our lists are not necessarily the official rankings published by each streaming service.

Listings refresh automatically, generally once a day. Update labels show how recent the information is. If an update is unavailable, we may continue showing the last available information. Search results are grouped by viewing service; they are not popularity rankings.

Know before you press play

Title details can include a synopsis, genres, seasons, and production status. “Who might like it” suggestions are based on a title’s genres, rather than on a personal profile of you.

Availability, subscriptions, and prices can change. Some links lead to rentals, purchases, or add-on subscriptions. Network listings identify shows associated with a network and do not guarantee that every episode is currently streamable. Confirm the offer on the service’s website.

Hulu add-ons and bundles are labeled separately from a standard Hulu subscription. Some require activating and watching in a partner app, such as Disney+ or HBO Max. Direct Hulu links are added when its published catalog identifies the matching title.

Find your next game

Sports covers MLB baseball and NFL football. Search for a team to find today’s games and the next scheduled games within the coming 30 days. Times are shown in Eastern Time. Listings refresh every 15 minutes and show when they were last updated.

Broadcast channels are matched with viewing services. Regional coverage, blackouts, subscription tiers, and changing broadcast rights can affect access. Service links open the relevant app or website; they do not guarantee playback. We do not collect your location to personalize sports availability.

Supported by advertising

Our business model is advertising, so you can use the tool without a membership fee. Paid placements will be identified as advertisements. The current preview contains reserved advertising spaces; Google AdSense is not active.

Independent discovery

What To Watch is an independent discovery tool. We do not host movies or episodes and are not an official website of the streaming services or studios shown. Title artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement.

Series metadata includes information from TVmaze, available under CC BY-SA 4.0. Metadata is formatted and combined for this tool; audience suggestions are generated from genres. This credit is not a claim of ownership or a blanket license for poster artwork.
