When MI5 agents are not up to scratch, they end up in Slough House, a specialist unit designed to keep would-be spies busy with paperwork and administrative tasks. The department is headed by the blunt and gruff Jackson Lamb, who was once a celebrated agent but is now washed-up, unkempt, and bored. Despite purposefully being kept away from the action, Slough House and its flawed agents find themselves in the middle of dangerous operations that offer them a chance at redemption.
