Yuji Itadori is a young high school student who becomes cursed after accidentally swallowing a demonic talisman—the finger of a demon named Sakuna. In order to rescue himself, he trains as a shaman and locates the rest of the demon's body parts to destroy them. But he realizes that his own power is growing as he inherits the magic of Sakuna without the demon influencing his behavior.
